FANTOMES

The appearance of the fantomes

The fantomes are more or less Nets, but appear real while having a behavior "somnambulic", they are sometimes transparent, are able to cross, walls and doors, and appear indifferent to alive that they meet. Their appearance is often accompanied by frozen wind, and sometimes by odors either pleasant or stinking... The contact with a phantom gives an impression of great cold, usually marked as by a burn.

The animals, in particular the dogs, express an unquestionable fear, sometimes panic and take a defensive position.

The fantomes of the old beliefs trained two families, one corresponding to the image which one has of the phantom of today, a kind of soft ectoplasm, éthéré, vêtu of white, the other, very different, in any point similar to the alive personn, immediately identified by those which knew it.
These phantoms there appear in dream with alive, come to make share of their death, in which case they ontl' aspect of their last hour (sword driven in the body, clothing soaked for drowned, etc...)Ils deliver a message, name their murderer, claim revenge and indicate the place where their body will be found so that they receive a burial in conformity with the rites, only means of getting the eternal rest to them. The parents viennetn to take leave of their children, the husbands of their wife, and reappear only where necessary, to help them, advise or blame.

Others fantomes are not recognized because their demise is old. They wander as of the hearts in sorrow because they did not obtain satisafaction: body not buried, revenge not carried out, and in a Christian prospect, nonaccomplished penitence: carried by a sudden death, the person did not have the time of regager the bosom of the church and is dedicated to the purgatory. In short, they are dead which does not rest in peace and appears so that assistance is brought to them. What is not always easy because these phantoms, which do not raise of oneiric appearances, are often dumb and seem not to see the alive ones, repeating inlassablement an act made formerly.

The parapsychologist Ernesto Bozzano, formulated on this subject following interpretation: far from showing itself wrapped in the famous white shroud, the phantoms always have human form, carry the costumes of the time to which they lived and present generally manner so realistic that one could believe them alive; they are shown sometimes distinctemement, but prove to be transparent; in other cases, they are only shades with the human pace. He often disappear balance, like vapor, or from go away while crossing a wall or a closed door. They go or on the contrary slip suspended in the air, and appear in the majority of the cases during years, intermittently, with long intervals, and sometimes at fixed date: it also happens that the phenomenon does not last more few months, even a few days.

Luminous phantoms: they are entities surrounded of a phosphorescent halation which confers a specific luminosity and a sometimes clear form to them, sometimes rather confused. They are in majority religious figures.

Subjective phantoms: They are simple visible mental images for only one person. They thus do not have, at least, least external reality and return in the same category as the hallucinations and the dreams. The "imaginary friends" of certain particularly sensitive and imaginative children could belong to this group.

Objective phantoms: they are not characterized one or more quality which prove their reality: several people see them, and even when only one individual distinguish them, they transmit other types of feelings to the present: their demonstration is almost always preceded by the ring feeling of a "presence" which seizes you and pushes you to turn you on the side where the phantom is held: and if this last approaches, you feel a wind frozen to pass on you. One of the most current characteristics of the phantoms is their apparent indifference with regard to the alive ones better which observe them or, still, their obvious disinterest with respect to the medium in which they are: they climb, cross a corridor, penetrate in a part without precise goal and worrying about the people whom they meet: oubien they are occupied with an unspecified domestic occupation, appear absorptive by a secret thought; they are in a psychic state of "absence", as if they achieved their actions by pure automatism somnanbulic.

All that does not prevent absolutely this rule from comprising certain numbers exceptions: there are cases where the phantom makes understand that it sees the people present to which he addresses himself often intentionally by gestures or words, by taking share with the conversation, while behaving as si' L was still in life and openly expressing its sympathy or its antipathy.

The appearances of phantoms can be accompanied by demonstrations accoustics of various natures: blows, noises of chains, barking of dog, moanings, sniggers characteristic etc. It also in certain cases that very clear verbal messages are formulated.
