THE RADIESTHESIE 
 
The word dowsing is formed of Latin radius (ray) and the Greek aisthésis(sensation); it thus acts of the perception of radiant energies, faculty to perceive the presence of underground substances (water, metals, oil etc...) by means of a small pendulum or of a suitable rod.  
In fact the vibrations of the hidden object cause the movement of the pendulum (or of the rod), but the unconscious impulses emitted by the radiesthesist and which had with his perspicacity: the sensitive one "sees" and "feel" the presence of a hidden object and reacts by an action idéomotrice. The proof is that the presence of the radiesthesist on the spot of research is not essential; it can act by far, by locating the position on a chart.  
 
 
Deprived of the pendulum or the rod, the things cease of him speaking and the radiesthesist become again a man like the others. If the support is present, the forecasts are right, the phenomena of perspicacity and the paranormaux diagnoses abound... If it is not there, nothing occurs.

The pendulum consists of a wire to the end of which hangs a generally hollow body, containing the "witness", namely a fragment of the substance that one seeks. This magic help holds easily in a pocket; and does not exceed 50 grams.  
 
It is always possible to get a pendulum, even in the event of urgency. It is enough to manufacture it oneself with wire, string, the lace of a shoe or long a hair. When with the oscillating body, you use a ring, a key or a pin.  
Only restriction on the use of the pendulum; not to act as full wind...  
 
One then fixes then by convention a variable code according to the type of research which one carries out.  
- Rotation in the direction of the needles of a watch: yes  
- Rotation in opposite direction: not  
- direction of the needles: boy  
- opposite direction: girl  
 
The pendulum can be used of many manners and on various objects:  
- suspended the top of a photograph, it makes it possible to reveal if a person is alive or not  
- the top of the belly of a pregnant woman, it makes it possible to know the sex of the child to be born  
- on the palm of the hand, it determines, by the speed of the gyration, the energy load of the individual  
- on the body of a patient, it makes it possible to locate the sick bodies.  
- the top of the ground, it allows dévoiller the presence of water, jewels, old parts...  
 
When the possibilities widen, the radiesthesist uses the dial then. It acts of a graph using the 2nd movement of the pendulum; the oscillation. This instrument, suspended on the center of a circle or half-circle shared in several sectors, will provide an answer while oscillating towards a given direction. The fields of investigation are infinite: health, feelings, vitality, pressure of blood etc...  
 
To manufacture a dial, you have only to take a compass, a sheet of paper, a pen and a ruler. Trace the circle, divide it by drawing the radii and indicate in those the possible answers.  
Suspend then the pendulum in the center of the circle, the wire must be held between the inch and the index. The other hand must be posed on that of the consultant (or on its photograph). The direction of the pendulum will indicate the answer. If it does not move, it is that no response of dial corresponds to the situation. If the pendulum hesitates between 2 answers, that can mean that they are both important.  
 
 
The Rod in form of Y :  
 
 
it is the traditional instrument of the waterfinder and the shaft sinker. It is cut in a branch of cherry tree, willow or apple tree (wood flexible devices). The ecart between the 2 arms of the fork must be lower than 90° and symmetrical. The diameter of wood must be approximately 1 cm, the length of the arms must be approximately 45 cm and the length with the top of the fork of approximately 5 cm.  
The position research must be done by holding the two forks, hands, palms upwards and inch on the ends of the forks, the hands with horizontal and in same alignment (necessity to put in tension the forks). The point of the rod must be turned upwards. The point of the rod must plunge if you found what you seek.  
 
Test your radiesthesic capacities: These tests can also be used as method of drive.  
 
N°1 test:  
It is the basic test in dowsing. To take 2 identical glasses, fill one of water. To make place an opaque fabric above (towel). The test consists in finding glass full of water.  
Essential mental convention, will be "my pendulum will turn when it is on water". Well on or have a chance on two to find, the test will be succeeded when you find with all the blows.  
 
N°2 test:  
To take 3 identical glasses filled with water. Ask a person to put in one, a good salt pinch (to stir up Well and wait until it is dissolve). The test consists using the pendulum to find water glass salted.  
 
N°3 test:  
This test makes it possible to measure your capacity to find an object metal. Take 3 opaque goblets, turn over, to make them put a small metal object under a goblet (key of apartment or car for example).  
 
N°4 test:  
To take a set of 32 charts, coller(légèrement) a stamp posts on a chart. Turn over them  
all and using the pendulum to find that which has the timbre.La pleasing mental convention to raise the question: " The stamp it is stuck under this chart." An easy way more quickly to go to gather the charts per packages, that will enable you to eliminate a small package each time.  
 
N°5 test:  
Here a difficult exercise, because it relates to the mental influence on the objects. To place on a table tens of objects various (key, chisel, show, bill, coin of currency, lighter, pen, etc) Demandez a person to strongly concentrate between 30s with 1 minute on an object, in your absence. Then try to find, using the pendulum the "impregnated" object of the thought of the person.  
 
N°6 test:  
This test is in the line of the precedent, but more complicated. Ask 4 people to pose on a sheet of blank paper (A4) numbered from 1 to 4, their right hand during 2 minutes (In your absence). It is a question of finding with the clock the person who impregnated her hand the good paper sheet. Take a person on the four, to make him pose its right hand beside the paper sheet numbered 1, find using the clock "syntonization" between the print and the person. If the pendulum does not react, last with the sheet 2. etc. To start again the experiment with the 3 other people. If you found all the prints corresponding to the people, it is that you have really a gift and even more.  
 
N°7 test:  
This test is an adaptation of the test which was proposed by professor Hans Bender with one of most famous French radiesthesists JL Crozier. It is the test of the famous play of  
battle naval. It is necessary to find using the pendulum or the person placed her 3 boats (1 submarine of a box, 1 destroyer of 2 boxes, 1 aircraft carrier of 3 boxes) on a grid of 25 boxes. The goal is to discover the 6 boxes containing the boats.  
If you find the 6 boxes representing the boats in:  
6 blows: You are an exceptionally gifted subject.  
from 7 to 10 blows: Very good.  
from 11 to 15 blows: good.  
from 16 to 20 blows: enough good.  
more than 20 blows: It will still be necessary for you to work.  
Practise these tests in a regular and progressive way (Start with N°1 and pass to N°2 only when you have 100e success.) No precipitation, nor of discouragement, the dowsing requires much patience and  
of perseverance.
